Luiee’s Scoliosis Surgery

Dear friends, family, and kind souls, As someone who’s never been comfortable asking for help or sharing personal struggles, this is incredibly hard for me to write. But right now, I’m putting my pride aside for the sake of my 13-year-old daughter Luiee, who is facing a critical surgery for her severe scoliosis on July 31st. On April 18th we had a visit with the Orthopedic Surgeon which we were told after getting a new X-ray the curvature has progressed and regardless of the back brace, the area it’s in the brace wouldn’t have helped nor corrected the issue. She’s progressed to a 90-degree spinal curve and she urgently needs surgery to correct it, relieve her pain, and finally allow her to move and grow without any further issues both physically and mentally. My daughter’s journey has already been so challenging.
